About the studio

Two roofs, one idea — design that shelters life.

AASAA is a Bangalore-based studio working at the meeting point of architecture and interiors. We believe the two are inseparable: a building's bones and its inner life should be imagined together, from the first sketch to the last detail.

Our work is rooted in its context — the city's climate, its courtyards, its craft traditions — and shaped by a modern, restrained sensibility. Considered materials, natural light and a quiet attention to detail matter to us more than any single style.

Roshni Kurele

Founder · Architect & Interior Designer

AASAA is led by Roshni Kurele, an architect and interior designer who founded the studio to design homes the way she believes they should be — personal, warm and shaped around the people who live in them. She trained as an architect at NIT Bhopal, graduating as a gold medalist, and went on to a Master's in Interior Design at CEPT University, where her thesis won the Best Thesis award.

Before founding AASAA, she spent over three years at L&T as an architect and interior designer, working on projects at scale — experience she now brings to homes and spaces designed one client at a time.

What we do

Services

Architecture

New builds designed for Bangalore's light and climate — residences, weekend homes and small commercial buildings, from massing studies to sanctioned drawings.

Interior Design

Interiors that balance warmth and restraint — space planning, custom furniture, material palettes and lighting, resolved down to the door handle.

Turnkey Execution

A single point of responsibility from design to handover — vendor coordination, site supervision and quality control, so you move into a finished space.

Renovation & Restyling

Reworking existing homes and offices — opening up plans, refreshing finishes and making older spaces feel current without losing their character.

Saanjh — A Family Home

Our first completed home, photographed at dusk. Warm wood, soft arches and hand-blocked patterns come together: curved timber portals frame the living spaces, terracotta niches catch the evening light, a chinoiserie-panelled bar hides in the dining room, and each bedroom tells its own story.

How we work

Process

  1. 01

    Listen

We start with your brief, your site and your way of living — no drawings until we understand all three.

  2. 02

    Sketch

Concepts, plans and material moods take shape. We iterate with you until the idea feels right.

  3. 03

    Detail

Working drawings, budgets and timelines — every junction and finish resolved before work begins.

  4. 04

    Build

We stay on site through execution and handover, so what gets built is what was drawn.

Frequently asked questions

Where is AASAA located, and which areas do you work in?
AASAA is a Bangalore-based architecture and interior design studio. We take on projects across Bengaluru and the surrounding region — apartments, independent homes, villas, offices and retail spaces. Working on something outside the city? Get in touch and we'll see how we can help.
Do you handle both architecture and interior design?
Yes. AASAA works across both — from a building's structure and layout to the interiors, custom furniture and finishes. We believe architecture and interiors are best designed together, so many clients come to us for the full journey from concept to handover.
How much does interior design cost in Bangalore?
Every project is different — cost depends on the size of the space, the scope (a full home versus a few rooms), the materials and the level of custom work. After an initial conversation and a site visit, we share a transparent estimate and a phased budget, so there are no surprises. Reach out for a quote tailored to your space.
What is turnkey interior execution?
Turnkey means we take a project from design all the way to a finished, move-in-ready space — handling drawings, vendors, site supervision and quality control under one roof. You get a single point of contact and a finished home, instead of coordinating multiple contractors yourself.
How long does a full home interior take?
As a rough guide, a full home interior usually takes around three to six months from design sign-off to handover, depending on the size and scope of the work. We share a clear timeline at the start of every project and keep you updated through each stage.
How do we get started?
Send us a note through the contact form below, or reach us on WhatsApp or email. We'll set up a conversation to understand your space, your brief and your budget — and take it from there.
